Ability to operate 1-2 machines (slitter, printing press or sheeter) efficiently. Ability to read and follow workorder instructions. Can perform a machine 'changeover' in a safe and timely manner. Can keep up with operator maintenance items (changing o-rings or pistons. Changing doctor blade assembly). Communicate needed maintenance items to supervisor or maintenance department. (new bearings, new set screws for trunnion bar. Worn shaft ends.) Keep a clean and organized work area. Enters production data into Radius operating system and downtown recording program with accuracy and details. Can properly start-up and shut-down 1-2 machines (slitter, printing press or sheeter) Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Have your assigned machine running at the time your shift begins. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Must be detailed oriented. Must be a team player and consistently have a positive attitude. Must have computer skills and data entry. Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth. Basic math skills. Ability to read a tape measure. High school diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively.
